Czechia prepares to participate in EXPO-2017 actively

Prague hosted an extended press conference on the participation of the Czech Republic in the international specialized exhibition “EXPO-2017” in Astana, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan informed.


In his speech Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic Vladimir Bartl noted the importance of the Czech participation in the forthcoming event in the capital of Kazakhstan, the results of which will promote the accelerated introduction of “green” technologies, effective protection of the environment and the global climate, improve the quality of life of people and future generations and also expansion of international cooperation in the field of development of renewable and resource-saving energy.

Ambassador of Kazakhstan Serzhan Abdykarimov spoke in detail about the active preparation of the country for EXPO-2017 and urged the broad public and business circles of the Czech Republic to visit the exhibition and other attractive tourist attractions of Kazakhstan in connection with the introduction of a visa-free regime for Czech citizens since the beginning this year.

In turn, Czech EXPO Commissioner Jan Krs and director of “Arteo” company Bohumil Bochnak told and showed screens about the current process of innovative content of the Czech pavilion, the solution of many organizational and technical details and answered questions from the local journalists.
